Robocup

Robocup

The Robocup of 2007 took place in the Georgia Tech at Atlanta. The different competitions are soccer, dance, nanobots… In the soccer competition the goal is to communicate, shoot and score. For the dance competition it’s to dance and for the new competition, nanobots must do a 2-millimeter dash, must do a slalom course and must manipulate objects. There are 37 countries participating. The goal of the competition is to move these sports skills into everyday tasks like in housework, factories, army… the future of nanotechnology is to be used in surgery by doctors. In the robocup competition, there aren’t many nanobots because they are very difficult to build and very expensive.
